Breakfast at Cici's

Here at Dude Weekend we love misery. That's why I'm proud to present Forbes Magazine's "America's Most Miserable Cities." Not to be confused with Kiplinger's Smart Cities, the Forbes list looks at unemployment, personal tax rates, commute times, weather, crime and Superfund sites. Biggest suprise: Charlotte, NC.

My only complaint about this list is that it only lists the top ten most miserable cities -- I prefer a depth of misery.

Wow...kind of weird to see my hometown mentioned in the same breath as Detroit. But how does the weather rank in the bottom half of rankings for weather? I always thought the weather in Charlotte was pretty kickass...

One trillion dollars in unmarked, untraceable bills...

OR

Watching the city of Detroit being sucked into the fiery pit of hell...

hmmm

Why the "Breakfast at Cici's" title anyway?

One part Audrey Hepburn, one part the misery of cheap, awful all-you-can-eat pizza. Friends of ours in college used to go there for brunch after a long night of partying. After every piece they would become more miserable.
